Our Stance on Copyright

At Castle App, we respect the intellectual property rights of others. All product names, logos, trademarks, and registered trademarks are property of their respective owners.

We will review and address in a timely manner notices that comply with the requirements above. This procedure is designed to be simple and is in conformity with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). In connection with the above, we may remove or disable access to material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity and will attempt to contact the person who provided the material in question.

How to Report a Copyright Issue

If you are a copyright owner or an agent of an owner and believe that any content in the Castle App has infringed on your copyrights, you can send a formal DMCA take down letter. Information Needed by us for Takedown Notice

To expedite our ability to process your request, such information should be provided in writing using the following format in a single notice:

1. Identification of Your Copyrighted Material: The location of the copyrighted work or works you believe has been infringed. A list of specific works is also unnecessary, if there is more than one work or work-day involved.

2. Where infringing material is located: Provide complete URLs for each or any and all relevant pages on the service or, if this is not possible, please include aliased directories to the content so that we are able to locate the material.

3. Your Personal Information: Your full name, street address, phone number, and email address.

4. Good Faith Statement: You are not required, however a) if you have a statement of the following type you must include the same.

5. I state under the perjury laws of the United States that such fair use is not authorized by copyright law, including United States copyright law."

6. Statement of Accuracy: You should also add this:

7. ’The information in this notice is accurate, and I am, under penalty of perjury, the owner of the copyright interest involved or an authorized agent for the owner or exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

8. Your Signature: The copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf must sign the letter.

How to Submit Your Notice

The best method to file your completed takedown notice is using the app. This makes sure the request is accurately recorded and gets to the right set of people to process it.

1. Open the Castle App.

2. Go to the "Me" tab or your Profile.

3. Click on ''Support Center'' or ''Help''.

4. Provide your notice of formal application, which includes all of the necessary information described above.

Please Note: Misrepresentation

Note that under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability. If you are not sure if the content you have seen infringes your copyright, we suggest that you first contact an attorney.
